Change The World

You cannot change the world,
But you can present the world with one improved person -
Yourself.
You can go to work on yourself to make yourself
Into the kind of person you admire and respect.
You can become a role model and set a standard for others.
You can control and discipline yourself to resist acting
Or speaking in a negative way
Toward anyone for any reason.
You can insist upon always doing things the loving way,
Rather than the hurtful way.
By doing these things each day,
You can continue on your journey
Toward becoming an exceptional human being.
Look Into My Eyes

Look into my eyes
And tell me what you see.
Can you see the pain,
That lies deep within me?
I try to be strong,
Keeping my feelings inside,
But my eyes tell a different story,
Of the p ain I can not hide.
I try to hide it,
Tell everyone I am just fine,
But no matter what I do
There is a pain that is all mine.
In my eyes you will see a hope
That lives within my heart & soul
A cure for EDS I long for doctors to fine.
One day you will see in my eyes no more pain...
A Letter From Heaven

ATo My Dearest Family,
I am writing this letter from Heaven,
There are some things I would like to say,
But first of all, to let you know that I am here
And I am Okay.
I know things happened so suddenly,
There are things we do not understand.
At that moment of time, an angel came
And took my by the hand.
She said my mansion was ready in heaven far above.
And I would have to leave my family that I dearly love.
But when I walked through Heaven's gates.
I felt so much at home.
I could see the crystal river flowing from God's mighty throne.
As I walked on the street of gold, I turned around to see,
Jesus was standing there waiting for me.
He said, "My child, you've been so faithful, so trusting & so true;
Though at times you do do things, you knew you shouldn't do
But you have been forgiven and now at last your're free.
Please take my hand & spend eternity with Me."
My Dearest Family, everything is alright
So please wipe away your tears.
I have fought the battle, run the race
And I am rid of all my fears.
There is no pain or sorrow here,
The heartaches now are past;
I have written & sung of Heaven,
And now I am here at last.
I don't want you to be unhappy
Just because I am out of sight;
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon & night.
There is one thing for certain; my life on earth is o'er
I am closer to you now, than I ever was before.
So when the new day starts without me,
Don't think we are far apart-
For every time you think of me,
I am right there...in your heart.
When it is time for you to go from your body to be free,
Remember that you not going...you're coming here with me.
