About Us
We are Jim N Carolyn Barber.We are plain, old country folks from South Fulton, TN. We have been married 9 years. Jim has a son named Jordan (26) & I have a daughter, Stacy (42). We don't believe in the word "step." We joined forces & now we got a family. The added bonus for Jim was that he got 2 grandson-Cody (21) & Cameron (15). It is a day-by-day process for me. I was diagnose with VEDS (Vascular Elders- Danlos Syndrome). It is a inherited disorder that affect your connective tissues — primarily your skin,muscles, joints and blood vessel walls My heart is now being affected. Two years ago, I almost died. With the help of God & a little machine in my chest, I am alive
today. I have had 12 surgeries including 2 total knee replacements.
Each day is a day-by-day process for me. I have good days and a lot of bad ones. On the bad days, all I can do is stay in the bed because of the pain and being so tired.
